KSDB Data Centre contains over 1,000 types of indicators and raw data on education, literacy, science and technology, culture and communication. We collects the data for more than 200 countries from public database and international organizations. KSDB helps you to build your own statistical tables related to various fields of action.

Here is a list of what is available here:

  • Brings together an historical record of the publications of Statistics various countries and those antecedent organisations that have been responsible for national statistics since the mid-19th century...
  • The long-term data series have been collected together by staff at Treasury to provide a general reference source of information on demographic, social and economic trends.
  • The series cover varying periods of time between 1840 and to date. They are made available as downloadable Excel spreadsheets, and each file contains one data worksheet and one documentation worksheet.
  • A resource to use if a time series of data is required. The data is mostly from Statistics a country and ranges from economic data, exports, government expenditure, demographic data (including tourist numbers) and labour force data through to building consents, retail trade and the information technology survey.
  • There is some exchange rate and interest rate data from the Reserve Bank. There are no definitions or explanations of methodologies (except in a few very brief instances)
  • A database from Euromonitor will give data on consumer products as well as on a number of socioeconomic topics. The data is annual. It is a useful database for comparing individual countries.
