GPS Tracking

A GPS tracking system is ideal for GPS vehicle tracking or any application where a small battery powered GPS tracking system is required. Based on the GPRS packet data network costs are much lower than GSM SMS. The GPS Data (Longitude, Latitude, Altitude and Timestamp) can be transferred back to a host system in real-time and the only special requirement is an Internet connection with a static IP address. GPRS charges are billed on data only. When the system is out of network contact it can continue logging positions to memory and send back to the host system once the connection is re-established so that no points are lost. Software triggers may also be defined so that only required data is logged to memory or sent via the GPRS connection to reduce communications costs.
